Sweet Little Bear,

he has been waiting a long time for his forever home.  8 year old 6 pounds. Bear loves car rides, walks on a leash, and especially any kind of meal time and snacks. Bear is very quiet, but will alert you to a stranger or knock on the door. He is so easy to live with. He loves observing from his little bed, and will spend a lot of time, just sniffing around in the backyard and laying in the sun.

I give him his baths and he is quiet cooperative now. I trim, brush his hair, and do his nails myself and he has improved in that area so much. I really don't have trouble with him at all anymore. (he used to squiggle quite a lot and did not enjoy grooming) He has been to a pro groomer and did ok.

Bear has become quite the cuddler, and will come up to you for his petting and sitting on the lap. He is not pushy or clingy though. He now joins us all on the bed at night and will come up when he is ready to be picked up and go to sleep. However if you prefer a dog that will sleep in his own bed at night, he doesn't mind.

Bear can be quite the clown and can really make you laugh. He learns routines very well and if I am late on dinner, lets me know!

He is very well behaved when people visit, and will watch the goings on from his own bed.

Bear gets along well with my other two dogs, does not play with toys, and has never been around cats or kids so I can't speak for that.  I would love to answer any questions about him. You can write me at

P.S. his pictures do not do him justice. He is so cute and has the most beautiful, soft, silky coat. I get compliments on him all the time.
