Adopt Me Page 15 features Emmy

Back Home Next

Emmy is a beautiful 10 year old, brown, 15lb chihuahua. She looks like any of our other dogs from a distance, she greets us at the door doing her little dance and wagging her tail, she runs in the yard and chases squirrels, she is first in line for treats. She sometimes sleeps on the end of the bed with us. The only difference is Emmy will not let you pet or hold her. We have to corner her to pick her up or pet her, she will not come to you. She does not walk well on a leash. Emmy has high blood pressure which she takes medication for and she is on soloxine for her thyroid. She does require an over the counter eye lubricant for her eyes occasionally. Emmy is a severe flight risk and must have a very secure yard. She has not overcome the trauma she experienced in the mill. She may never be comfortable being petted or held but she has adapted to life outside of the mill and is very content in her life. She is a distinguished little lady who is content to lay in the sun and guard the yard. If you have questions about Emmy please contact me: bonnie1322@yahoo.com , she is being fostered in South Jersey.
