Adopt Me  features Gracie

Back Home Next

Gracie is a very beautiful, sweet, white, 22 pound, female poodle.

This is an updated photo of her after she went to be groomed.

She is looking for a home to call her own where she can learn that people love and care for her. She is very timid and shy yet. She will need guidance, patience and a lot of love.
Her fostermom says house manners are fine with puppy pads.
She is working on the the going outside. Gracie is frightened of the outdoors having lived her life cage in a crate.

She does get along well with the other dogs at her foster home. She has been fine around older children but would not do well with younger ones.

Below is what Rose wrote about Gracie.

Her house manners are fine as she is soooo fearful of open spaces! This is why I would NEVER crate her (even though there's a large crate here! She now sticks to the small bedroom. Can't imagine how scary large areas would be to a dog kept in that little crate! This is why I give her the safety of her 'corner.' She'll have to be placed with an individual experienced with traumatized mill dogs. Gracie is okay with the kids coming in here (11 and 13 Y/O girls. ) She can't be rushed or she wigs out! These children are very mannerly and patient. What I see as the problem is distrust, fear... so get back to me on this
