My name was BABY CAKES and this is my story.

Baby cakes, what a joke!! this little one was never any ones baby. Age 6 She is a complete basket case, looks far older then the others. Has a tattoo in her ear and her right ear is deformed, she has been in a very bad place....I think, she acts like she does not know the other dogs. Has the most beautiful eyes. Fell asleep sitting up. Will not come to me, backs away terrified look on her face. My heart goes out to her.

What a difference, she has slept and slept such a deep sleep, cozy in her bed in the kitchen, she must have never been able to sleep in the wire cage and sleep deeply and feel safe. I notice with her and the others they have hardly any sense of smell!!! As you know dogs have a very heightened sense of smell and I can only think that living in your and everybody else's feces you loose that sense, I guess it will come back???. She still backs away when I approach her and is not happy to be picked up BUT I did get my first waggle tail last night, even she was surprised as she turned to look at her tail as it wagged. She is so soft to touch and is going to be famous as a poster dog for a new rescue web-ring

Tinkey had a septic hematoma on her ear that really hurt her, She had it fixed at her vets yesterday and had Four teeth taken out, She is happy to be back with her friends for now.... but is still looking for her forever home. SHE FOUND IT Darling little Tinkee has a wonderful new home with Dave and GiGi and their Three kid's. Will tell you all the details soon.

Yesterday 8/14/99/Tinkey's new mom and dad came over to visit with
Melissa and I, she is doing so well, and loves her new family,
her new mom says she is a bit of a klutz like her and is
hilarious to watch as she runs and leaps around in the garden.
They think she is just jumping for joy at her new found freedom
and happiness. just see the before and after pictures of her,
hard to believe this is the same little dog!!!!!!.
Look at that sparkle in her eyes!!!
