Bill

Hi Everyone. Thanks for all the support around my adoption of Bill. I really tried to maintain foster Mom status but with each passing day it became apparent that I had become way to attached to let him go. Bill affectionately known as the Billdozer now earned his new name by Billdozing the entire house. He does not have a clue about housebreaking although I have seen glimmers of hope in the last few days. It seemed that he really doesn't understand any of the usual and customary doggie smelling and marking. He would just go whenever and wherever. He is slowly gaining control. (knock on wood) I had anticipated an experience like the one I had with Wizzer but they are not at all alike. Wizzer wizzed on every baseboard, door casing chair leg in fact anything within aim was fair game for a blast of pee. Good thing he's only a little 10lb dog I crawled along behind him armed with pail and sponge.  Finally I wore out and stopped fastidiously cleaning up and low and behold he stopped marking. I think he thought it was his job and by cleaning he just thought he had to start over.  Bill on the other hand doesn't mark although that may be a blessing in the long run. He often goes outside ,runs around and comes in and pees. Oh well.  He is the most incredible gentle giant. For a Shih Tzu. He weighs 17lbs and goes trampling all over the house. At 7:00am he comes running on the bed and jumps on my head.  What a transformation in a month.  He loves riding in the car, treats, hugs and cuddles. At first he would barely look at me and now he's a big friendly love bunny. Amazing!!!  PMR dogs are magic I'm so fortunate to have these boys. I'll send pictures soon.
