Gandoff now Dallas

Hello everyone! It's been some months since the last update, and all
things are going great with this little guy! He is quite simply the
sweetest, most adorable and loving dog I have met. I am so happy
that I was able to adopt him, and everyone else's loss who didn't
want to adopt this senior guy! Dallas spent about 3 weeks in august
in our new home, and settled quite nicely there. Lots of windows to
look out of, and much more space. Unfortunately, I discovered
several gaps under the fence and until this gets fixed, both dogs are
only going into the yard on leashes. So they have not been able to
really enjoy the yard yet.

Over the last couple of months, I have started seeing new sides of
him come out, which I attribute mainly to him really being
comfortable here and knowing this is his forever place. He has
become MUCH more outgoing and a little spitfire- he voices his
opinion now when he wants to eat, when he wants me to get up, when he
wants his brother Henry to move over, etc! It's just so funny to see
him acting all indignant for some reason or another, and it's even
surprised Henry (who is quite a pistol himself). He's not aggressive
in the least, just much more confident. I am really happy about
that. He has ALSO (ready for this!) become more independent. He
still follows me around, but not nearly to the extent he did the
first few months. He also chooses to sleep on the dog bed next to MY
bed on occasion. I can't believe that, and am trying not to be too
hurt. Hmmph! He has become much more attached to Henry, and while
they still don't play, they cuddle on the dog beds a lot, and Dallas
really follows Henry lead in most things. I am going to ATTEMPT to
take a picture of them plus my mom's 2 dogs this week (we're going to
Ohio again) in their Halloween attire. We'll see how that works out,
and I will send them to you all. Libby, Dallas and Henry
