GiGi
My name is GiGi and I got to leave the mill after 6 years of having litter after litter of puppies. All of the puppies I just had were all born dead, so they said I was useless and let me go. I am so scared right now, I mostly go into a room to be by myself.
Nancy and Bill came
to pick up GiGi today. I met them part way at my nieces house. She was such
a good girl on the 2 1/2 hour ride to Madison. This morning she took a
shower with me so she would be "beautiful" when the Huytens came to pick her
up. When we arrived at my nieces house and got out of the car, GiGi got
scared and went under the car and covered herself with grease. I got most of
it off, but, not the grease smell. As soon as the Huytens arrived I told
them about the grease and they couldn't have cared less, they just wanted to
meet her. Nancy got right down and layed on the floor talking to her,
petting her, and kissing her, grease and all. GiGi might be scared but she
loves attention. Every time someone that GiGi doesn't know and trust picks
her up and carries her, she will paddle her front feet like she is swimming.
When Nancy picked her up and carried her outside, she didn't swim. GiGi must
have sensed the love and carring that Nancy felt for her. I know that GiGi
will have a very loving home with the Huytens. I'm anxious to hear how she
was on the 4 hour drive to her forever home and how her new fur sister,
Katie, likes her. |
