Moppet's
Story |
 |
Hi everyone its me Moppett!!
I hope you all remember me. I used to be on the
PMR website. One day my forever Mommy was looking at all the
pictures, and
seen my face. She had been really sad, because she had just lost
her best
friend Tuffy, who went to Rainbow Bridge. Well when she seen my
picture, she
just loved me from the first moment seeing my pic. Everyday she
would look
at it, then one day she pushed that adopt me button. I was so
happy when
Charly told me I was going to have a forever Mommy. You see I had
lived in
one of those Puppymills that everyone hates. I was miserable.
I was living
in this Yukie Yukie cage that was very dirty. Even the wires had
this awful
yuk on them. I was a mess, dirty and matted and my ears were
hurting soooo
bad. I was crying and rubbing my ears on the cage. Then one
day this really
nice lady named Charly came and took me home with her. She took me
to the
Doctor and got some medicine to put in my ears. My ears started
feeling
better. I was very shy, but I sure loved Charly, I would follow
her all
over, sticking like glue to her. One day she took me to the
airport and
told me it was time to go to my forever home. I was really scared.
This was
the first time I had ever been on a plane. It was noisy and it
scared me.
When the plane finally landed there was my new mommy waiting for me.
She was
so happy to see me and thought I was the most beautiful Maltese she had
ever
seen. Charly gave me a nice bath and brushed me
all out before my big
trip. I was still kind of scared because I had never seen her
before and
nothing looked familiar to me. My mommy took me to petsmart and
the Humane
Society people were there. She was so proud of me, she took me
over to meet
these people. They all had to put their hands on me and uhhhhhh
and ahhhhhh
and tell my new mommy how pretty I was. After mommy bought me some
food, and
a new bowl and leash, we got in the car and drove to my new home.
Soon as
she opened the door, these 2 baby dogs came running. I never seen them
before, and they were all happy to see me, jumping all over me.
Then we got
to go out in the back yard. I just ran all over the place.
It was fun.
Then later we ate, and then we went to bed. I was totally
surprised when
mommy picked me up and put me on this big bed. Then she put Teddy and
Tessie
up there to, thats the baby doggies names. My mommy is very nice,
she
doesn't even get mad when the three of us poop and pee pee in the house.
She
says one of these days, we will all learn that were suppose to potty
outside,
in the mean time she says she'll just be are slave, cleaning up after
us.
She also gives me some good food. She cooks doggie burgers for us,
and once
a week she boils us chicken, just for us. I am one happy dog.
Soon as we
wake up in the mornings my day starts, with Teddy & Tessie and me
beating
each other up. Just play fighting, we really like each other.
Mommy thinks
we are funny, because we do some silly things. Mommy put this card
board box
in the family room for us to play or sleep in. We turned it over
onto its
side, so mommy put a blanket in there. Teddy & Tessie go in
there to fight
each other, and drag each other out of it. I go in there to dig.
I love
digging in it because it makes so much noise. Mommy thinks I think
I'm doing
something important. Another thing I like to do to this box is
chew on it,
its fun. Sometimes I even try to drag the blanket out of there.
HA HA !!
This is a great place to live, and I never have to live in a cage again.
So
everyone thats my story, with a happy ending. Mommy said to tell
everyone,
that if you haven't adopted one of the PMR DOGS go ahead push that
button,
and then you will be as happy as we are.
