Sassy Pants

Sassy Pants adopted to her foster mommy Linda Landers.

Just wanted to send a brief note to let everybody know that Sassy Pants is home at last. Dick and I have fostered her for the past ten plus months and she is still a little scared little lady who may never overcome the trauma induced by the mill that she was tormented in. Sassy P is still horribly afraid of humans and runs and hides and shakes when introduced to new and different situations. Here at the Pom Palace, Sassy Pants, just goes her way and is happy, unafraid, and loves her life. Her protector was her Bubba (JJ) who went to the Bridge on November 21st. Since then, Sassy Pants has been very agitated and very unsure of herself. We spend time each and every day trying to let her know that she does not have to be afraid and that we will take care of her. We have adopted Sassy Pants and feel certain, that, with time, she will come to know comfort, freedom of fear and happiness. I feel, that, in time, she will come to know that she no longer has to be afraid. But, until that time, we will love her and take care of her no matter what her needs are. Here is our special little girl.
