Sheba.

Sheba is sadly placed on the Rainbow Bridge page, lost but never forgotten. She
didn't know to trust humans, to come to them for help. She did what her instincts
told her - to run. She reacted the only way she knew how.

I love you precious Sheba, Auntie Carol in Toledo and many others.

This picture was of Sheba, taken Friday, June 29, 2001.
A smooth coated Chihuahua. She was born into the life of a puppymill breeder on 2/2/90. So it took her over 11 years to earn her freedom.

She had senile cataracts and has lost her sight in one eye and has limited sight in the other. She is a little shy but sweet. Sheba was  looking for a quiet home to live out the remainder of her life.

She weighed 7.6 pounds but was a little underweight. She had Chocolate and white markings. Or should I say gray markings. She had to have 3 teeth extracted during her dental. So she was missing several teeth. She had been eating Eukanuba small breed puppy formula

Sheba was being transported to her first forever home by Pupcentral, a couple of months later in August  2001  http://www.feathersandfurvanlines.com/ a couple of hours after being picked up from her foster to go to her  forever home the drivers at pupcentral AKA http://www.feathersandfurvanlines.com stopped and had Sheba out of her crate!!!! ( we never got a good explanation as to why).

They told us "a large truck came by and she slipped her harness", she ran into a wooded area at the rear of the Plaza, she has never been seen since.........

Many people went to search for her, Robin's son Chris spent a week in those woods calling her name, it has been 18 months since she was lost, and its now time ( reluctantly) to put her little face and story on our

 Rainbow Bridge page.

In Memory of Sheba.

$ 500.00 REWARD for finding Sheba.

Sheba needs your help! if you live close

Sheba  needs your help! if you live in the Chicago area near the Oasis Service Plaza just west of interstate 80/94.

Sheba was being transported to her first forever home Monday by Pupcentral, a large truck came by and she slipped her harness. She was a puppymill breeder.  She is 11 years old, brown and white and weighs about 8 pounds.

She ran into a wooded area at the rear of the Plaza, is very scared and will probably only come to a female, if at all.
