Adopt Me Page 7 features Mozart

Back Home Next

Mozart is a 12 year old, apricot toy poodle. We have
just gotten up and little Mozart is playing, as he always
does when he first gets up. I took this picture just as
he stopped rolling around on the bed. He is like, "Look
at me, aren't I cute!" And of course I always say what
a cute, good boy he is. I wanted to get the pic of him
looking at me upside down, but he moved too fast, little
bugger.

Mozart is still looking for his forever home. I look at
him and I can't understand why. He is a wonderful
little boy. Even at age 12 he is an energetic fella. He
runs around the yard, normally throwing a toy up in the
air and catching it. He gets along with other dogs; loves
everyone he sees. Mozart even entered a Halloween
Contest and was a Pirate. He is one of the sweetest
dogs I have had the pleasure of meeting. He does like
to be with his person, but is content to hang around with
the other fur kidz when Chris or I are not around.

He is doing pretty good on his pottying, and will go on a
pee pad. He always potties outside when we are out
there. Not once has he not and then come back in to
finish. He can mark in the house if you don't watch him.
But if he starts and you tell him no, he will stop. Poor
guy, he hasn't had much to call his own in a long time,
and he wants to make sure we know he does have
something now.

He runs like the wind and has a blast outside. It would
be nice if Mozart had a fenced in yard in his forever
home, but it is not a necessity. He walks like a champ
on the leash and as long as he got exercise, that would
be fine. The sad thing with that is, I didn't teach him
to walk on a leash. He came out of the mill, knowing
how. So, I think, at one time, Mozart did have a home
to call his own. And either someone put him up for sale
in a freebie add, or dumped him at a shelter...no one will
really know. It is hard for the pups that once knew a
home, than lost it. We are so very happy that Mozart
is now free again to enjoy being a pup.

if you could find it in your hearts to give Mozart that
forever home, he would be very grateful and loving. He
is a healthy boy and we hope will be around for many
more years to enjoy his freedom. If you have ANY
questions, you can email me, his foster mom at
jansencynthia@yahoo.com. We live in Upstate NY and
Mozart is wearing his winter attire when we go outside
for warmth. He loves his sweaters and looks quite
dapper in them, if I do say so myself.
