ADOPTED

Pearl is a 5 lb 12 oz cream and white parti colored
Pomeranian who will be turning 4 years old on her
birthday, which is the end of this month. I can't think
of a better birthday present for her than a forever
home and family.

Pearl has been in foster care for three months now and
is making headway and working hard to overcome her
fears. She has just recently gotten to the point where
she comes up to her Foster Mom to be picked up and
petted several times a day, although she is still very,
very shy. She goes outside a bit better than in the
beginning and her potty training is coming along fairly
well. Pearl is learning how to play with toys and with
her little buddy Cinder. She gets along with all the
other dogs and is going to make somebody a wonderful,
loving companion once they earn her trust.

Pearl's ideal home would be an adult family with
someone who is home most of the time to help her with
her potty training during the day and to help teach her
not to be afraid of each and every loud noise or
movement. She is a very nervous little girl and would
not do well around children. Pearl also has a fear of
larger dogs over 10 lbs. Her new family would have to
be patient, understanding, accepting and very loving to
her. She feels happy, content and safe to stay in her
corner away from the rest of the world, but is starting
to branch out a bit. Today, for the first time, she is
laying in one of the other beds in the computer room,
instead of the bed in the corner. That's progress!!! : ))

If you think yours is the perfect home for this precious
jewel, please push that Adopt Button. And, if you have
any questions what so ever, contact me, her Foster Mom
at landerslblanders@aol.com. Pearl is being fostered in
North Central Texas.
